TEMERLOH, Oct 18 — Four people including a cop were detained with a number of drugs and weapons in a raid on a house in Taman Bahagia Indah, here yesterday night.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Aziz Salleh said, the three men and a woman aged between 21 and 27 years arrested in the raid carried out at 8.50pm were believed to be members of a secret society based on the eight samurai swords and five toy guns seized from them.

During the Ops Cantas and Ops Tapis raid on the house police also seized various types of drugs like syabu, Methamphetamine and a digital weighing scale.

“Police are still investigating to confirm whether this group is a gang committing robbery and burglary based on some of the items discovered from them like Rolex, Casio, G-Shock, Goer and Oris watches, 19 mobile phones of various brands, walkie-talkies, homemade wind shotgun and a knife,” he told reporters here today.

Abdul Aziz said police also seized a .38 pistol, handcuffs and eight live bullets from one of the men.

He said all those arrested had no record of past offences but all tested positive for methamphetamine. — Bernama
