TAWAU, Sept 23 — A motorcyclist was killed when the machine he was riding skidded before hitting the wall of a Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) substation at the 2nd Mile of Jalan Apas early this morning.
Are Muhammad, 23, who did not have a driving license was on his way from Tawau town to the 3rd Mile when the incident took place at 1am.
“Upon arriving at the spot of the incident, the victim lost control of the motorcycle and skidded to the left of the road before crashing into the wall of the SESB substation,” said Tawau deputy police chief Supt Keong Ho Eng in a statement here today.
He said the victim sustained serious head injuries and died at the scene. — Bernama
