KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin has been advised to settle his defamation suit against Nurul Izzah Anwar and two others over the sale of land in Bukit Kiara, The Star Online reported today.

The news portal said that High Court judge Justice Yeoh Wee Siam advised the parties involved to settle the civil suit on their own or through a mediation process.

Raja Nong Chik's lawyer M. Reza Hassan told The Star that his client has also been asked to reply to their defence statement by September 16, to enable the case management to be held the next day.

The former Cabinet minister had also named online news publisher Mkini Dotcom Sdn Bhd and its reporter Lu Wei Hoong as defendents in his suit.
