PENDANG, Aug 16 — Felda’s success since its establishment is the best real example of the transformation process, says Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

The prime minister said the transformation taking place in Felda involved various aspects, including individual and family, physical and mental, and organisational transformation.

“It (transformation) could be seen from the time before they (settlers) joined the Felda land schemes, after they joined and now,” he said at a National Settlers Day celebration at the Sungai Tiang Felda scheme near here today.

Najib said Felda’s transformation was crystal clear and today, the Felda community was able to enjoy a much better life than before.

“Today, there is overall transformation in Felda and the agency or more accurately, Felda Global Ventures, can be regarded at the international level as a multinational corporation that we can be proud of,” he said. — Bernama
