Traffic at crawl along North-South Expressway towards KL

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 — Traffic was still at a crawl on the North-South Expressway heading to the federal capital as of 9pm today.

According to a Plus Expressway Berhad traffic control centre spokesman, the traffic pace remained slow along Pedas Linggi towards the Senawang and Seremban rest and recreation areas (R&R).

“Traffic was also slow moving towards the Juru toll plaza to Jawi in Penang, Changkat Jering to Kuala Kangsar in Perak, Yong Peng to Machap, Machap to Simpang Renggam and Sedenak to Kulai Jaya in Johor,” he told Bernama when contacted.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) reported that traffic was also slow moving along the east coast towards the federal capital from the Bentong toll plaza towards Bukit Tinggi in Pahang, Karak toll plaza and Gombak.
