GEORGE TOWN, Aug 10 — Prominent lawyer and politician Karpal Singh’s first-ever biography “Karpal Singh — Tiger of Jelutong” will be out in bookshops soon.

The 325-page biography, written by veteran journalist Tim Donoghue, captures the life of the outspoken opposition leader, the interesting court cases he took on over the years and the many death-row inmates he had defended.

Holding the sole printed copy of the biography, Karpal said today that it had taken 26 years to complete the book.

According to the Bukit Gelugor MP, the book, published by Marshall Cavendish in Singapore, will be making its way to Malaysian shores soon.

“It will also be available in other countries,” he said.

The book will be officially launched in Kuala Lumpur soon.

It is already available for orders via online store Amazon and also on Marshall Cavendish’s site and is being sold at US$29.99 (RM96) online.
