KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 — Revenge is believed to be the motive in the murder of a hotel employee who was found with three stab wounds to her chest in a bedroom at her house in Jalan SM 4, Taman Sunway, Batu Caves yesterday.
Gombak district police chief ACP Rahim Abdullah, when contacted by Bernama, said police did not rule out revenge as the motive because of the condition of the body when it was found.
He said Badariah Hussin, 44, a housekeeper, was found lying on her back with her hands and feet tied up.
“This shows the murder has been planned by someone known to her.
Investigation also revealed that there was no sign of force entry into the house and none of the victim’s belongings are missing,” he added.
He also believed that there was a struggle between the victim and the suspect as the house was in a mess.
Rahim said police had found about nine fingerprints and would use them to identify the suspect.
Police had also recorded statements from the victim’s family members and neighbours to assist their investigation, he added. — Bernama
