Can’t get enough of Kayali? Malaysian fans can soon layer Yum Marshmallow and Pistachio Gelato from lips to body
Kayali takes its popular Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 and Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 scents beyond perfume with new lip balms and body creams, arriving in Malaysia this September.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — For Malaysian Kayali fans who already layer their favourite fragrances, the ritual is about to extend well beyond a spritz of perfume.

The fragrance brand is moving into lip and body care for the first time with its new Yum Lip & Body Collection, taking two of its popular gourmand scents and turning them into scented body creams and lip balms.

According to a media release, the collection will arrive at Sephora Malaysia on Sept 30, featuring Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 and Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 — two of Kayali's sweet, dessert-inspired fragrances.

And yes, the new additions sound just as edible.

Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 brings together strawberry, pink marshmallow and whipped vanilla, while Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 plays with pistachio gelato, whipped cream, hazelnut and other sugary notes.

Each scent now comes in two new formats: the Silk Soufflé Body Cream and Cashmere Kiss Lip Balm.

For Kayali founder and chief executive officer Mona Kattan, the expansion is less about simply entering new beauty categories and more about extending the fragrance-layering ritual the brand has become known for.

“As someone who has always been obsessed with fragrance rituals, I wanted to create products that allow our community to experience scent in an entirely new way,” Kattan said in the media release.

“This collection isn’t just about adding body cream and lip balm to our portfolio — it’s about expanding the art of layering beyond the bottle and making every step of the ritual more intentional, sensorial, and delicious.”

One of Kayali’s favourites among Malaysian fragrance lovers, Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 now gets the body-care treatment with the new Silk Soufflé Body Cream.
The Silk Soufflé Body Creams have a whipped, lightweight texture and are formulated with hyaluronic acid alongside what the brand calls its Kayali Dream Elixir.

The latter combines six ingredients — date seed oil, pomegranate fruit extract, sesame oil, moringa oil, almond oil and olive oil — with the creams promising up to 24 hours of hydration.

The moisturised skin also serves another purpose: creating a base upon which wearers can layer their chosen fragrance.

The Cashmere Kiss Lip Balms, meanwhile, promise up to eight hours of hydration and come with a soft silicone applicator.

The Boujee Marshmallow version is tinted and leaves a soft shine, while Pistachio Gelato is non-tinted.

The idea is to use the products individually or build them into a head-to-toe scent combination — body cream first, followed by fragrance and the matching lip balm.

Those who prefer experimenting can also pair the creams with other perfumes rather than their matching Yum fragrances.

Kayali is calling the approach “Layer With Love”, extending the brand’s mix-and-match fragrance philosophy into a wider beauty ritual.

To mark the expansion, Kayali is also rolling out its “House of Yum” concept through immersive events internationally, built around the pink marshmallow and pistachio-green worlds of the two fragrances.

The accompanying campaign stars Kattan alongside several of the brand’s personalities and creators in a playful get-ready-with-me concept.

In Malaysia, the Silk Soufflé Body Creams will retail for RM280 each, while the Cashmere Kiss Lip Balms are priced at RM145 each.

The four products will be available at Sephora Malaysia from Sept 30, before expanding to Lazada, Zalora and SEIBU from Dec 1.
