KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 — Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has given one of its most recognisable beauty staples an upgrade, introducing the new Vitamin Enriched Face Base+ with enhanced skincare benefits and up to 24-hour priming performance.

An evolution of the brand’s global bestselling Vitamin Enriched Face Base, the new formula retains the buttery, cushion-soft texture, grapefruit and geranium scent and two-in-one moisturiser-and-primer function that made the original a cult favourite.

What has changed, according to a media release, is what goes on beneath the surface.

Vitamin Enriched Face Base+ now features Bobbi Brown’s new SuperVitamin Blend with five times the vitamins, including niacinamide (Vitamin B3), panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Vitamin C.

The ingredients are designed to help strengthen the skin barrier and visibly brighten the complexion over time, while the formula promises a 122 per cent immediate moisture boost and a 22 per cent increase in skin smoothness after four weeks of use.

The brand also says the upgraded Face Base can prime skin for up to 24 hours, helping foundation stay looking fresh throughout the day.

Bobbi Brown vice-president of global product development Teresa Kitfield said the challenge was improving an established bestseller without losing the qualities that made it popular in the first place.

“This wasn’t about changing the formula; it was about making it work even harder for your skin,” she said.

“We asked ourselves, ‘How can we make the best even better?’ The answer was a new SuperVitamin Blend, purposefully chosen to deliver tangible results.”

According to the brand’s consumer testing, 99 per cent of participants said their skin looked healthier and plumped with moisture, while 96 per cent said it appeared brighter.

On the makeup front, 99 per cent said their skin felt primed for makeup, while 95 per cent said their makeup continued to look fresh throughout the day.

Bobbi Brown global artist-in-residence Nikki DeRoest, who created the looks for the product’s campaign, described the Face Base+ as a staple in her makeup kit.

“A great makeup look is impossible without a great canvas, and Vitamin Enriched Face Base+ is my secret weapon,” she said.

“It doesn’t just prep the skin; it brings it to life. It’s the first and most important step to looking fresh, awake, and authentically beautiful.”
