Ancom Crop Care opens applications for Penang scholarship programme
The scholarship programme, launched in May 2023 by Ancom Crop Care Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ancom Nylex Bhd, aims to support students from financially underprivileged families in Penang in pursuing tertiary education.

 

PETALING JAYA, Aug 8 — Applications for the Ancom Crop Care Penang Scholarship Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year will open on Aug 11 and close on Sept 30, with eligible Penang-born students invited to apply.

The scholarship programme, launched in May 2023 by Ancom Crop Care Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ancom Nylex Bhd, aims to support students from financially underprivileged families in Penang in pursuing tertiary education.

The 2026/2027 intake marks the fourth year of the scholarship programme.

The scholarship is open to students who have secured admission to any undergraduate degree programme, excluding Medicine and Dentistry, at any local public or private university.

Students who have applied for university admission but have yet to receive their offer letters may also apply using their STPM or A-Level results.

Current university students in their second, third or final year of undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply.

Successful applicants will receive scholarship funding of up to RM10,000 each towards tuition fees over the duration of their studies.

Since the programme was launched, 67 students from universities across Malaysia have received scholarships.

Application forms and further information are available on Ancom Crop Care and Ancom Nylex’s websites. Applications can be submitted online from Aug 11 to Sept 30.
