KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 — Uniqlo will launch its first hijab collection in Malaysia on August 17, offering three designs developed for different styles and everyday needs.
In a recent statement, the Japanese clothing retailer said the collection will comprise the Airism UV Protection Hijab, Georgette Hijab and Satin Hijab, each priced at RM59.90.
The Airism design uses the brand’s lightweight, breathable fabric with ultraviolet protection, while the satin and georgette options offer different textures and finishes.
Uniqlo said the collection was designed with Malaysia’s warm climate and daily wearing habits in mind, with an emphasis on comfort, breathability and versatility.
The accompanying campaign will feature three Malaysian personalities, whose identities will be announced when the full collection and campaign visuals are unveiled.
The hijabs will be available at all Uniqlo stores in Malaysia and through its online store from August 17.
