KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 — Popular Malaysian food influencer and entrepreneur Khairul Aming has announced the release of his fourth product, Sambal Nyet Bilis, a new sambal that he described as his biggest launch to date.
The social media personality revealed the product in a video posted on X, saying the sambal carries a different flavour profile, more kick, and uses additional ingredients compared to his earlier offerings.
“After six years of business with just one sambal, we’ve finally prepared to release a new sambal,” Khairul Aming said in the video.
“This product launch will be the biggest product launch that KA has ever done,” he added, referring to himself by his initials.
The new sambal is made with green and red chillies, shallots, garlic, cooking oil, sugar, salt, flavoured pepper and MSG, giving it a richer taste and spicier edge.
According to Khairul Aming, the recipe uses about 75 per cent green chillies and 25 per cent red chillies, creating a balanced flavour profile with added heat.
Khairul Aming first gained fame through his cooking videos, particularly his “30 Hari 30 Resepi” Ramadan series, which drew millions of viewers and made him a household name in Malaysia.
His approachable style and easy‑to‑follow recipes built a loyal following before he ventured into product launches.
He later introduced Sambal Nyet Berapi, which sold millions of bottles and became a signature product.
The new sambal aims to build on that success by offering fans a fresh flavour experience.
He thanked supporters for their loyalty over the past six years, noting that the journey from his first product to this latest launch had been “a blink of an eye.”
Further announcements about the sambal are expected throughout the week as Khairul Aming prepares for the official rollout, with 125,000 bottles set to be released at 9pm on August 7, 2026, during his TikTok Live session.
