KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Miss Universe Malaysia 2025, Chloe Lim, has unveiled her national costume, The Majestic of Anjung Serimpak, inspired by Sabah’s Bajau-Sama culture, ahead of the Miss Universe competition in Thailand this November.

Designed by Mell Sulaiman, the costume captures the Sama-Bajau’s seafaring legacy through a Serimpak headdress shaped like a sailing vessel, golden accents symbolising nobility, and sea-green fabrics reflecting Sabah’s coastal beauty.

Lim expressed pride in representing Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity, while Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation national director Charissa Chong said the design celebrates the nation’s artistic and multicultural identity.
