PETALING JAYA, Sept 22 — Selangor Crown Prince Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is set to marry Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz on October 2, the Selangor Royal Office announced today.

According to a statement issued by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah's private secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani, and shared via the Selangor Royal Office’s official Facebook page, the royal solemnisation ceremony will take place at the Royal Palace Mosque, Istana Alam Shah in Klang.

“The royal wedding ceremony of His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025,” the statement said.

“The royal bersanding ceremony and royal banquet will be held on October 22, 2025 at Istana Alam Shah,” it added.

In the lead-up to the celebrations, mosques across Selangor will hold Yasin recitals and special prayers on September 25, seeking blessings for a smooth and meaningful royal wedding.

The Sultan of Selangor and the Raja Muda are expected to attend a doa selamat ceremony at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam on the same day.
