KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 — It was an opening act of a canine kind after a classical music festival in Copenhagen, Denmark kicked off to the barking stylings of three dogs that were included in the orchestra.

Furry four-legged stars, Cookie, Sophus and Sica went through three months of training to learn not only to bark on command, but to remain quiet for the rest of the performance, reported BBC.

Footage of the rehearsal showed the three dogs barking on command in the Danish Chamber Orchestra’s performance of the Hunting Symphony, a little-known piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s father, Leopold.

Chief conductor Adam Fischer, who auditioned dozens of dogs for the role, said he was honouring the composer’s wish that a part of the symphony should be accompanied by baying hounds.
