KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 — Want to get into a Merdeka state of mind? Well, our Education Minister Maszlee Malik is challenging you (and all Malaysians) to a show of patriotism by...pantun.

Maszlee made the announcement of the patriotic pantun contest on his Twitter account.

To join in the pantun fun, simply tweet your original pantun, tag @maszlee and include the following hashtags: #SayangiMalaysiaku #MalaysiaMembaca #PantunSayangiMalaysiaku

No fancy prizes here, winners will, at most get bragging rights and the winning pantun will be featured on the Education Ministry's social media pages.
