Asos steps up ‘Choose Love’ with lingerie line to support refugees

LONDON, July 31 — Asos has become the exclusive stockist of a new, special edition lingerie line created to support refugees.

The collection, titled "Choose Love”, is by British designer Katharine Hamnett — best known for her political T-shirts — in partnership with NGO Help Refugees, one of the biggest non-profit organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers across Europe and the Middle East.

All pieces in the "Choose Love” collection are made from organic cotton, with prices ranging from £6 (RM32) to £22, and all profits to be donated to Help Refugees.

The decision by Asos to back the philanthropic tie-up follows a recent move by the e-tailer to support another fashion line for a good cause — an adaptive jumpsuit that can also be worn by people in wheelchairs, which was launched on Asos in last month.

Hamnett launched the Choose Love line with iconic t-shirts and sweatshirts (also sold on Asos from 2017) which have been spotted on celebrities including Jude Law, Judi Dench, Fatboy Slim, Jason Segel, Noel Fielding and Alexa Chung, to name a few. — AFP-Relaxnews
