NEW YORK, April 27 — Pat McGrath has unveiled her latest big beauty launch, and it is shinier than ever.

The makeup mogul and celebrity beauty artist is launching a collection of "Lust: Gloss” lip glosses with three-dimensional lustre. The series will debut on patmcgrath.com on May 10.

The new reveal, which McGrath describes as "orally fixating balm-meets-gloss,” will come in a range of 14 dazzling colours that run the gamut from intense gold to bright violet. The star has been teasing "Aliengelic,” an ethereal, pearly pink hue, on Instagram but additional shades are given equally otherworldly names, such as "Flesh Astral,” "Pale Fire Nectar” and "Paraphernalia.” The collection marks McGrath’s first foray into colour lip glosses.

"I wanted to have something really comfortable and easy and fun to wear the way that a lip balm is,” McGrath told Fashionista of her new launch. "The fact that it’s non-sticky, the fact that there’s a little oil in [the formula] gives you that comfort. It’s just so easy to apply.”

The rollout is the latest big launch for the beauty magnate, whose ‘Pat McGrath Labs’ brand has achieved cult status over the last year, having established a permanent, "unlimited” cosmetics collection back in August.

"Lust: Gloss” will retail for US$28 (RM110) and will be available from patmcgrath.com on May 10, and on sephora.com from May 17. — AFP-Relaxnews
