NEW YORK, June 8 ― A spearfisherman wearing a headcam captured the moment he was attacked by a reef shark, and boy is it harrowing.    

Out fishing with his buddies near the Middle Samo Reef off Boca Chica in the Florida Keys, Parker Simpson said the 8-foot shark appeared out of nowhere and charged at him without warning, taking a chunk out of his leg with a single bite.

Rushed to a hospital after making it to safety, Simpson said he lost more than two pints of blood in the attack, with the shark having torn through his tibial artery.
