PARIS, June 7 — Luxury French department store Le Bon Marché has today marked the launch of its new global site 24 Sèvres with the introduction of a capsule collection of 77 limited-edition pieces designed by 68 local and international brands.
The items — a series collaborative pieces from renowned fashion houses such as Chloé, Miu Miu, Fendi, Givenchy, Proenza Schouler, Lowe and Kenzo — were exhibited on the ground floor of Le Bon Marché, which also featured special window displays, with customers invited to discover the fresh site on tablets, and then pick up their online orders via the store’s new "click and collect” department.
Pieces in the collection range from €75 (RM360) for a Casanera scent diffuser with a fragrance developed by musician Thomas Dutronc, to €5,400 for a cashmere cape from Loro Piana (via WWD).
The multi-brand online store — a digital embodiment of Le Bon Marché, which for more than 160 years has been located at 24 Rue de Sèvres — is owned and managed by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and aims to provide a new fashion shopping avenue, with a distinctly Parisian point of view and relevant daily content across all digital platforms. — AFP-Relaxnews
