KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — Crazy in love would be an understatement to describe the feat local photographer Keow Wee Loong underwent to execute the perfect propose for his girlfriend: Scaling the world's tallest bridge!
According to reports, Keow scaled the Beipanjiang Bridge following a two-hour mountain hike before spending another 40 minutes scaling to the very top where he hoisted up a sign that said, "Will you marry me?”
This Beipanjiang Bridge is scheduled to open soon before the end of the year and it will be the highest bridge in the world when it is open to the public.
Keow first met his Polish fiancée Marta Sibielak while working in Japan earlier this May, taking photos of the Fukushima exclusion zone (yes, he is that infamous photographer!).
According to his Facebook posting, Keow had been looking at various venues to pull off this over-the-top proposal before deciding on this one: "Been travelling across China to find the perfect spot to propose to Marta Sibielak, with the help of Shilton Benardo James Calamba (#stoneandco) , I’m only going to do this once, so I decided to make this epic.”
The proposal didn’t end there, Keow also whisked his fiancée to Bali where he showed her the video before officially giving her the ring. Do we even need to tell you that she said YES!
Keow Wee Loong shared this image of him officially proposing to his fiancée in Bali on his Facebook page.
As can be seen by this image shared by Keow Wee Loong on his Facebook page, the trip up the bridge was no mean feat.
