LONDON, March 13 — Always on the lookout for new collaborations, Uniqlo has teamed up with the British brand Liberty London — known for its iconic fabrics — for a spring collection that goes big on florals. The collection includes over 20 items and will be available in the UK on Friday, before launching globally in stores and online on March 24.
This capsule collection harmoniously matches the contemporary casuals of the Japanese brand with the tradition and expertise of Liberty London, which opened its legendary Regent Street store in the British capital in 1875. It sees iconic Uniqlo items splashed with the English emporium’s famous prints, in a partnership that’s perfectly timed to celebrate Liberty’s 140th anniversary.

The emblematic floral prints of Liberty London have been brought to functional pieces for women, girls, babies and men, such as T-shirts, tank tops, dresses, trousers, Bermuda shorts, culottes and a lightweight down jacket.
“We have selected highly popular, vibrant floral patterns from among the Liberty prints, adored throughout the world by people across generations and cultures, and brought them together with Uniqlo’s cutting-edge sensibilities to be reborn as LifeWear,” explains Yukihiro Katsuta, head of research and design at Uniqlo.
The result is a collection of garments in fresh, light springtime shades, covered with flowers of all kinds. The collection includes six items of children’s wear, 19 pieces of womenswear and three pieces of menswear, with prices ranging from €7.90 to €79.90 (RM36 to RM360). Items available in the US are priced between US$7.90 and US$39.90 (RM32 and RM320).
