HONG KONG, Dec 30 — Sorry, long-suffering boyfriends. It looks like your Hello Kitty-mad girlfriend has yet another attraction to add to her ever-growing bucket list.
Global News reported that a Hello Kitty-themed health centre opened its doors to visitors in Wing On Plaza in Tsim Sha Tsui last month.
As to be expected, the entire facility is decked from floor to ceiling with all things Kitty, starting with the enormous Hello Kitty-shaped entrance.
And the good news is your girlfriend needn’t even feign an illness because the clinic will welcome her with open arms.
One of its mission statements is that it hopes to attract curious Hong Kongers and tourists alike to rid them of their phobia of seeking treatment for common diseases.

According to its official website, the Hello Kitty Health Centre wants to convey the message that “prevention is better than cure”.
Registered nurse Zoe Fung told the Associated Press that the clinic’s décor of white, blue and pink is designed to exude “a friendly and warm atmosphere” for “a positive experience”.
“Even if you’re not here to enjoy the service, we hope people will come here to take a look and have a great time,” she was quoted as saying
She added that the centre’s concept is to be a relaxing environment for kids “who love the cat”.
Among the services provided are health exams and vaccinations for infants, children and adults — and plenty of cute Hello Kitty plasters too, we bet.
