NEW YORK, Dec 29 — Poppy Harlow may be more used to reporting the news, but yesterday the CNN anchor made the headlines when she fainted on air during a live broadcast, but managed to recover and finish the rest of the telecast like a real trooper!

Harlow, who is five months pregnant, was discussing a CNN/ORC poll on American dissatisfaction with the War on Terror when she started to feel unwell.

She began slurring her words before trailing off and going silent completely.

The incident was not seen on camera because it coincided with the airing of a graphic showing the poll results.

CNN producers quickly cut to a commercial break shortly afterwards.

Responding to concerned viewers who took to Twitter for answers to what had happened, Harlow reassured them that she was fine despite “passing out for a moment.”

“For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I’m okay, thank you so much,” Harlow said when she returned on camera. “I got a little hot, and I passed out for a moment. I am fine.”

Less than two hours later she gave another update that, while it was a scare, both her and the baby were fine and healthy.

Harlow and her husband Sinisa Babcic are expecting their first child — a girl.
