KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 28 ― There’s a lot of local talent that we can be proud of and this clip by Halim Films is just one of them.   

Titled “Letters from Ilham”, this short film tells the tale of a young boy yearning for his father. The young boy decides to pen a letter to his lost father.

He gets inspiration after watching a father and his child release balloons and decides to tie the letter to a bunch of balloons, in hope that the letter reaches his father.

In his letter, he hopes that his father would show up at this prize giving ceremony to see him receive his award for topping his class. He asks his father to return, telling him how much he misses him.

His letter was discovered by an elderly man at the park who decides that he doesn’t want the child to be sad and decides to write back to him, advising him to be a good son.
