NEW YORK, Nov 11 — What happens when you combine light sabers with dancing peacock spiders?

This hypnotic video by Roto Scopic shows these spiders battling it out Star Wars-style.

The video is made using an animation technique called rotoscoping, in which animators trace over footage, frame by frame, for use in live-action and animated films.

The animator took footage of dancing peacock spiders and drew in realistic-looking light sabers to match their movements. Impressive!
