MANILA, Oct 25 — Pets were on parade in the Philippines on Saturday in a Halloween themed costume show.

From zombie brides, to vampires, costumes ran the gammut from cute to spooky to... delicious?

Viber, a chihuahua dressed as a bowl of raman noodles, wore a costume made completely out of of recycled products.

One participant and her pet had matching angle costumes, complete with moving wings.

“It’s important for both of us,” said Christina Jose. “We can bond with other dogs and with our friends who are also attending the show.”

Later several children got on stage and performed for the audience.

A representative from the mall where the show took place said the programme is meant to strengthen bonds between owners and their pets as well as increase public awareness of animal rights.
