LOS ANGELES, Sept 26 — For those of you planning to master martial arts, expert Master Ken has a tip for you.

Master Ken explains why the age-old hand drill known as ‘lap sao’ practised by several martial arts does nothing to train you for real combat and offers an alternative training technique.

He then proceeds to demonstrate what looks like the playground staple game: patty cakes.

It’s a clapping game played by children in playgrounds and has been approved by Master Ken as a superior ‘open hand’ training technique in this funny video.
