LOS ANGELES, Sept 7 — The guys from “MythBusters” have decided to take on “Star Wars” and we can see why, with all the recent hype on Force Friday and what not.  

Show hosts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage focused on questions like can a lightsaber really deflect lasers and does having the high ground in a lightsaber battle really matter for the show’s “Star Wars” themed season finale recently.

They also put to test something that everyone’s probably questioned: Is it really possible to dodge a laser blaster shot?

Now, the idea of trying to apply clear science to a franchise that largely revolves around space wizards seems a little silly, but it is fun to watch Adam and Jamie try!
