IOWA, Aug 28 — School assemblies and meetings can be so boring — unless you’re in West Des Moines, Iowa, where a bunch of teachers joined forces last week for a flash mob.

With one more day of planning left before classes began, the teachers sang a parody version of “One More Day”, the soaring anthem from the Broadway musical “Les Miserables”.

About 30 teachers and staff members broke into song during an all-district employee meeting last week, capturing some of the emotion and angst over having “one more day” before students return.
