KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 — Massive slip-and slide water party, Slide the City, is on its way to KL.

Or at least an official Facebook page for the Malaysian instalment of the family-friendly event seemed to suggest as much.

In a post dated July 23, the organisers wrote, “Slide the City is coming to KL this year! We are turning a 1,000-foot city street into a giant slip & slide! Tag your friends here and get ready for the SLIDE OF YOUR LIFE! Stay tuned for Pre-Registration!”

Tickets will be available in three tiers — single slider, triple slider and unlimited slider — although no prices have been announced.

The organisers dropped a big hint in another post dated July 29 as to where the giant water slide will be set up: “Hint: Check out our profile picture! It’s there!!!!”

While this is pure speculation on our part, the event looks likely to take place in the vicinity of KLCC, since the iconic Twin Towers appear in said profile picture.

No other details such as event dates have been revealed.

If Slide the City is anything like its original US sibling, participants can look forward to a soaking good time awash with live music, food and drinks.

They are also encouraged to bring their water buckets, floaties and water guns.
