NEW YORK, Aug 18 — Baby strollers have certainly evolved over time to look less like quaint prams and more like high-performance gadgets.
And this new stroller prototype from Volkswagen demonstrates some interesting ideas about the future of baby transport.
This motorised stroller is equipped with brakes and the same adaptive cruise control and collision sensors (apparently) used in the Volkswagen Golf, the stroller follows parents as they walk around, speeding up and slowing down as necessary.
The video shows a stroller that only can drive on its own, but also brake on its own — cool and probably kind of dangerous to be honest especially when you can’t see you child behind you. Check it out nevertheless.
