NEW YORK, Aug 3 — Cosplay or costume play is when participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character or idea.

So it’s easy to see why the costumes play an important role when it comes to cosplay — the creations can require hours of work and meticulous planning to get exactly the right look.

The Try Guys decided to construct Sailor Moon costumes for the first time in this special four-episode BuzzFeed series exploring cosplay.
