LOS ANGELES, Aug 2 ― They came, they saw, they wagged their tails madly, then unleashed their surfing skills in the waters of Imperial Beach, California.

More than 50 canine surfers showed up for the annual Surf Dog Competition.

They're judged on their skills, the duration of the ride, and confidence.
