SAU PAULO, July 22 — If anything is worth five seconds of your time, it is this Australian teenager winning the Rubik’s Cube world title with this amazing performance.
Feliks Zemdegs, a 19-year-old from Australia, won the 2015 Rubik’s Cube World Championship in Brazil after solving one of the puzzle boxes in just 5.695 seconds.
But for all his speed, his time was less than half a second shy of the world record. The record for a single solve is currently held by American Collin Burns, who solved it in 5.25 seconds earlier this year.
Zemdegs holds the world record for fastest average, with a 6.54 average in his 38 official competitions, according to the World Cube Association.
The world’s fastest Rubik’s Cuber has stunned millions with his art to solve the puzzle, this time in less than six seconds.
