WISCONSIN DELLS, July 11 — Carnivals and fairs are an important part of summer. While the rides look like a lot of fun most of them could be a little bit safer.

One ride at the Wisconsin Dells actually broke when it was turned on. As its name implies, the Catapult launches rides using powerful bungee cords.

But one dad captured the terrifying moment when the bungee snapped when the ride was turned on. That could have ended much worse!
