LONDON, July 10 — Four official photos to mark the christening of Princess Charlotte have been released by Kensington Palace.

They were taken after the fourth in line to the British throne was christened at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate on Sunday.

Among them is a group picture of Charlotte’s immediate family, which was taken in the drawing room of Queen Elizabeth’s private Norfolk residence.

One notable absentee was Princess Charlotte’s uncle, Prince Harry, who is in Africa where he is working as a wildlife ranger for three months.

The second picture shows the Duchess of Cambridge gazing lovingly at her daughter, while the third shows William and George having a laugh in the garden.

The fourth picture shows the Cambridges as a family of four for the first ime.

In an official statement, a Kensington Palace spokesman said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham.

“They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do.”

The photos were taken by Mario Testino, who famously shot Princess Diana’s last playful and iconic fashion shoot for Vanity Fair just two months before she died, and counted her as a personal friend.

The Peruvian fashion photographer had previously taken pictures of princes William and Harry with their father, the Prince of Wales, as well as the Cambridges’ official engagement pictures.

This was the first time the Queen had been pictured by him.
