LONDON, June 17 — After four days of laying down the next season’s big trends, London Collections: Men has finally closed up shop. There was plenty to talk about regarding the clothes, but what about the grooming? Here we take a look at the hairstyles you’ll be rocking for Spring/Summer 16, according to the catwalks.
Slick hair
Slicked back hair was big throughout the show. At Bobby Abley hair was slicked back so severely that audience members could see the track lines left by the brush — all the better to highlight the contrasting soft cartoonishness of the designs. Casely-Hayford went for a smoother look, but one that was slicked back off the face nonetheless. And Matthew Miller went for the sideways slick for a gentlemanly effect.

Quiffs and fringes
The quiff was back in style at Katie Eary, where the bold clothes didn’t overpower the models’ groomed looks. The quiffs were worn high and voluminous, with the hair kept long in the back to emphasize the shape. The alternative was the sweeping side fringe, which was on show at James Long.

Au-naturel locks
Christopher Raeburn went for the slightly wild, natural look when it came to the hair for his explorer-inspired presentation. YMC kept things very long, straight and polished, while Lou Dalton went for a naturally messy aesthetic for its Haçienda-themed collection, invoking the idea of a hedonistic night or morning. — AFP-Relaxnews
