Toodaloo Motha... Ken Jeong's Cancer Story (VIDEO)
Malay Mail

LOS ANGELES, March 20 — For his contribution to Ken Burns Films’ “Cancer Story Wall” project, “Community” and “The Hangover” actor Ken Jeong shares a story that is deeply personal and tragically universal.

Shortly after the birth of his twin daughters, Jeong learned that his wife, Tran, had Stage 3 breast cancer. And it was getting bigger.

At the same time, he was close to nabbing a role in “The Hangover — that of camp gangster Leslie Chow who leapt into the annals of frat-comedy history after face-planting Bradley Cooper with his groin.

But he hesitated. After all, how could he be funny when his wife was dying of cancer?

Get ready to reach for a tissue, as the funnyman talks about the moment that changed his life forever — and how he and his wife said toodaloo to cancer.

The actor is close to tears in a video where he recounts his wife’s battle with Stage 3 breast cancer.
