SYDNEY, July 17 — What does your Facebook profile say about you? It’s a question many people worry about in this day and age, but chocolate maestro Cadbury has come up with a fun form of social analysis.

The “Joy Generator“ is a Facebook-powered vending machine which analyses your social media profile and distributes a free chocolate bar based on your personality.

The concept works by checking out users’ likes and interests to allocate them a chocolate ‘flavor’.

There are 12 variations of Dairy Milk bars available in total, including Roast Almond, Turkish Delight, Caramel and Crunchie.  The brainchild of Cadbury Australia and advertising studio Red Agency, the Joy Generator is currently only available Down Under, but an app is set to launch soon so that internet users all over the world can detect their flavor.

Social media-inspired sweet treats are turning into something of a trend of late — in March cookie company Oreo unveiled the “Oreo Trending Vending Lounge” which 3D-printed customized biscuits by allowing customers to see which flavors were trending on Twitter and choose their snack accordingly. — AFP
