KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 — Tourism Malaysia’s new ambassador Luis Suarez took the Malaysian Cuisine Challenge recently — and gave local food a resounding thumbs-up.

In the two-minute clip uploaded on Monday, the Barcelona striker risked his strict footballer’s diet to sample five local favourites: Roti canai, satay, char koay teow, nasi lemak and popiah.

Although he claimed that he "could eat char koay teow every day,” there’s one dish that he simply couldn’t get enough of, calling it "tasty” and "really good, really.”
