Quick and easy deep-fried chocolate mochi balls (VIDEO)

NEW YORK, March 21 — Have a craving for sweet, chewy Japanese mochi? Then, you’ll want to note down this recipe.

This recipe from YouTube channel Tasty will show you how to prepare delicious deep-fried chocolate mochi balls that will satisfy all your sweet cravings.

You’ll need these ingredients to make this recipe:  3/4 cups of sweet rice flour, 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch, 1/2 cup of water, chocolate chips and oil for frying.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet rice flour, cornstarch, and water. Turn out on table and knead to form a ball of dough. Next, take some dough, roughly the size of a ping pong ball and create a well in the centre of it. Fill the centre with chocolate chips and wrap the dough around the chocolate chips to form into a ball.

Make sure to seal well and push out any air pockets as these air pockets can pop and burst will frying.

Deep fry the mocha balls until the outside is crispy and they start floating to the top. Enjoy!
