BEVERLY HILLS, March 11 — New York-based French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will be making his West Coast debut as the newly appointed chef for the luxury Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel.

The Michelin-starred chef has been tapped by the luxury brand to bring his eponymously named New York restaurant to the hotel, and develop their rooftop dining menu.

Menus will be based on local, seasonal and organic California ingredients.

The restaurant will be unveiled in 2017 along with the hotel opening.

Located on the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, the 12-story hotel will house 170 rooms and mark the first new build property for the brand on the West Coast. — AFP-Relaxnews
