HONG KONG, Oct 29 — If there’s one thing Hong Kongers like doing more than earning money, it’s eating.
Marvel are certainly hoping that the way to their hearts is through their stomachs, with the South China Morning Post reporting today that the comic book publisher’s representatives have approached Alvin Leung of three-Michelin-star restaurant Bo Innovation to prepare some fun dinners based on superhero characters.
SCMP added that Marvel are keen to promote the comic book brand in an innovative way in Hong Kong.
Leung will team up with Chris Cosentino, of Cockscomb Restaurant in San Francisco, to present the “Heroes and Villains” pop-up dinner series at Leung’s restaurant in Wan Chai over three nights.
The dinners, which will be held from November 2 to 4, will see each chef presenting his culinary take on the superhero theme on separate nights, before collaborating for an eight-course dinner on the final night.
