Great Scott! You can now actually buy the ‘Back to the Future’ Pepsi Perfect (VIDEO)

NEW YORK, Oct 6 — Pepsi is going “Back to the Future” with the Pepsi Perfect release on October 21.

To refresh your memory, in the second movie of the trilogy of “Back to the Future”, Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) travels to the futuristic far-off year 2015, October 21, to be exact. And once there, all he wants is a Pepsi to which he is delivered a Pepsi Perfect — a fictional soda.

Only now it won’t be fictional anymore. The real-life version of the soda will go on sale to mark that date of course, but there will only be 6,500 bottles that come in collectible cases available.

Sadly though, the actual contents of the bottle won't be revolutionary. The 16.9-ounce Pepsi Perfect bottles will be filled with Pepsi Made With Real Sugar, a formula you can already buy if you don't want to drink Pepsi's corn-syrup formula.

Pepsi will also be celebrating the film at the New York Comic Con this month by recreating a booth inspired by Café 80s (where McFly orders the drink), featuring a DeLorean and even a Wild Gunman arcade game. The first 200 fans who show up at the booth dressed in full McFly regalia will earn themselves their very own Pepsi Perfect.
