However, you may find it hard to get good coffee beans because not many cafes sell them.

You might need to befriend a cafe owner or barista to help you buy beans because most of the time, cafes get their beans wholesale. Finding 100 gram- or 200 gram-packets are possible but the selection is limited to just a handful of roasters.

Bean Shipper is the ideal option for home brewers, baristas and even cafe owners.

The team that runs Bean Shipper is also the same one behind Blaq Coffee, a coffee bean subscription company. Every month, Blaq Coffee offers a subscription of four specially-curated single origin coffee beans sourced from small batch coffee roasters in Malaysia. The service also allows you to select the type of subscription to suit your personal needs and taste preference.

Bean Shipper also ships outside of Malaysia to countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, China and Thailand. The site promises freshly-roasted beans and according to Bean Shipper's definition, this means that the coffee beans are about a week past their roasting date.

If you own a cafe and would like to buy wholesale, the option is also available through Bean Shipper.
