PETALING JAYA, Nov 21 — Popular e-hailing service company, Grab Malaysia today launched its first lounge at the main entrance of Sunway Pyramid to improve the overall ride experience for Grab customers and to provide a safe, convenient and affordable transport service.

Grab Malaysia Country Head Sean Goh, said the lounge, set up in collaboration with Sunway Pyramid, would also enable passengers without a grab account to call for a ride through the booking kiosks installed at the lounge.

Speaking at the launch of the lounge here today, he said Grab Malaysia planned to set up similar lounges at other Sunway Malls next year.

Meanwhile, Sunway Malls Chief Executive Officer Kevin Tan said the lounge was part of the mall’s effort to ease traffic woes at the main entrance, which could back up all the way to the New Pantai Expressway during peak hours.

"It will not only ease the traffic congestion but above all, increase the convenience for all mall-goers,” he said.

Grab operates in more than 100 cities across seven countries comprising Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar. — Bernama
