PARIS, Feb 25 — As a final quality control test before deliveries commence, Bugatti has enlisted the help of one of football’s biggest stars.
Real Madrid attacker and Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday put what is potentially the world’s fastest and most exclusive production car through its paces to make sure that potential clients won’t be disappointed.
Of the decision to recruit the current Fifa player of the year as a quality control inspector, the company’s chief test driver Andy Wallace said "Before we hand the Chiron over to our customers, it should be tested and approved by a champion.”
It also helps in this respect that Ronaldo is an existing Bugatti client and so has a frame of reference that other champions from other sports may have been lacking. — AFP-Relaxnews
