First Mercedes-Benz City Service launched in KL

KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 — Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, together with its authorised dealer Hap Seng Star (HSS), has launched its first Mercedes-Benz City Service in Kuala Lumpur at a total investment of RM7 million.

The facility is a full-fledged sales, service and spare parts (3S) Autohaus which can accommodate six showroom vehicles, 18 work bays and is operated by a 45-strong team.

It enables the service of more than 50 vehicles daily and up to 1,100 vehicles monthly.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia President and Chief Executive Officer Dr Claus Weidner said the company is committed to automotive excellence and bringing the best-of-the-best to customers.

“This first-of-its-kind feature is part of our customer centric strategy, which offers easy access in being located in the Kuala Lumpur City centre,” he told reporters at the launch of the city service here today.

Meanwhile, Hap Seng Consolidated Bhd Group Chief Operating Officer and Hap Seng Star Chief Executive Harald Behrend said the new service is a testament of the company’s strong commitment to the Mercedes-Benz brand.

“It is our priority to offer an extraordinary luxury experience when our customers come into contact with the Mercedes-Benz brand.

“With the latest offering in retail and customer experience, we have set a new standard in delivering high quality services in line with the Mercedes-Benz premium automotive experience,” he added. — Bernama
