PETALING JAYA, May 19 — Malaysian Guns N’ Roses fans rejoice.

The award winning rock n’ roll band has announced it will perform its first show — with the near original line-up (missing Steve Adler and Izzy Stradlin) — in Kuala Lumpur on November 14.

The band took to Instagram to announce seven new dates added to their tour in November — Jakarta (8), Manila (11), Taipei (17), Hong Kong (20 & 21) and Abu Dhabi on 25th of that month.

"We’re not done here yet,” the post mentioned.

The announcement brings much joy to the die-hard fans who have been waiting to see the band’s near original line up in the region for nearly a quarter of a century.

The last time the band performed in the region was in 2013 but they only got a taste of Axl’s Guns N’ Roses powered by Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus, bassist/vocalist Tommy Stinson and drummer Frank Ferrer.

Back in 2010 and 2015, Slash and his band alongside Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy performed at Sunway.

Fans are surely in for a treat, with Axl Rose’s dance moves, Slash’s guitar solos, Duff McKagan on bass, Dizzy Reed’s skills on the keyboard alongside newer band members Ferrer and Fortus set to wow the Malaysian faithful.
